Appearance: A heavy, earth-toned cloak woven from bark and twisted roots. The fibers feel like hardened vine but are flexible and durable. Small stone charms are woven into the fabric, each etched with Goliath runes of endurance and steadfastness.

Effects:

• Stone’s Endurance:

  • Once per long rest, as a reaction to being knocked prone or forcibly moved, you can root yourself to the ground, reducing the distance moved to 0 and gaining temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier + your level.

• Rooted Resolve:

  • You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or magically compelled to move.

• Iron Will:

  • You are immune to the Fey Charm ability and any charm effect that specifically targets humanoids.

Flavor and Lore:

This mantle was crafted by Kelgrim Deeproot to honor those who stand firm against the temptations and manipulations of the Fey Courts. The woven roots and stone charms symbolize the unyielding strength of the Moving Mountain Clan, and it serves as both a reminder and a safeguard against those who would twist a person’s will. Given to Baron Jornan Eastward as a mark of respect, it is a symbol of the Barony’s refusal to bow to foreign influence, particularly that of the Winter Court.
