Your message is received and understood. The Summer Court has no intention of undermining the rightful sovereignty of the Barony of Eastward, nor of imposing its will upon those who strive to reclaim their rightful place. I recognize that in these turbulent times, it is natural to view the arrival of foreign powers with suspicion.

Let me be clear: the Summer Court’s presence in these lands is not driven by a desire to conquer or claim lordship. We are here at the behest of Claudia Marque and her allies within House Estellia to secure trade routes and protect vital infrastructure from those who would bring ruin to the region. This is not an invasion, nor an assertion of dominion over the Eastern Reaches.

I respect the Barony’s efforts to restore its legacy and reclaim what was lost. Our goals do not conflict. The Summer Court’s primary aim is to maintain stability, prevent lawlessness, and ensure that the common folk are protected from banditry and tyranny.

If the Barony wishes to remain independent of Fey Court influence, I will respect that. But know this: Should threats arise that endanger the peace we have worked to maintain, the Summer Court will not turn a blind eye. If you or your lord ever see fit to discuss mutual interests or coordination against mutual threats, you will find me willing to listen.

May your efforts to restore Eastward prove fruitful. Stability benefits all who call these lands home, and I shall not act to undermine that aim.
